Transplant update

We have now consulted with Dylan's CT doctors, who are in the process of collaborating with the Boston doctors. We have learned that Dylan's CT GI doctor has researched growth hormones in individuals who have Alagille Syndrome and they will not help Dylan attain the magical 20 lbs. weight that the Boston docs. would like. Dylan's CT team would like him to receive a transplant while he is strong and before his health begins to decline. Our plan is to go for another transplant consult at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan as we have recently learned that we will have better insurance coverage at that hospital.
